tour tour tour!

we’re super happy to announce that we’re going on a co-headlining tour this summer with El Ten Eleven! we played with these dudes years ago at the silverlake lounge is los angeles. they’re awesome. more info/dates soon, although you can probably do some detective work and get a head start on show details (yes, it’s a mostly full US tour. yes, florida is in there!)

we’ll also be configuring our set a little differently this time around. the patagonian rats tour cycle started in september and since then we’ve built the set around songs from the album. this time we’ll be focusing on new ideas, old ideas, restructured ideas etc, etc, in addition to PR songs. we’ll also be retrofitting to a 3 piece Tera Melos (evan will be working on his Family Room record and will rejoin us for our fall tour schedule.) so it should be a real fun, experimental, raging time.

before this adventure we’ll be playing two shows with Sargent House fresh blood, Le Butcherettes and Adebisi Shank. June 27th at the Troubadour in LA and June 29th at the Great American Music Hall in SF. we’re headlining the SF show. wait- WHAT!? WE’RE HEADLINING THE GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL IN SF!!! whoaaa! we’ve seen lots of awesome shows there (dillinger, botch, deerhoof…) and now we get to play our own awesome show there. le butcherettes will just be coming off the deftones/dillinger tour and it’ll be adebisi’s first time in the US. these shows will be bananas. do. not. miss. these. (we’ll be playing as the 4 piece, patagonian rats band)

and lastly, before that adventure, we’re going to Ireland and the UK (as we have previously freaked out over). we’ll be playing a bunch of shows with Tangled Hair and some other really cool bands. there’s also a mind bending show on June 18th that we can’t talk about… yet.
